I am a cell biologist broadly interested how the tumor microenvironment (the cells, tissues, and vessels surrounding a tumor) affects tumor behaviour. I am particularly interested in how mechanical forces influence tumor progression, cell/nuclear architecture, chromatin accessibility, and gene expression.

I completed my Ph.D in cell and developmental biology at the University of Toronto in 2018, and am now a postdoctoral fellow with Richard White at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. My postdoctoral research is currently funded by a K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award from the NCI. I grew up in London, Ontario and currently live in Brooklyn, NY.
